Love, Love LOVES Paris!

Back in Paris for the last time for awhile.
Last night I arrived around 6pm at the train station. My friend, Franck got a car and we hauled 6 months of my life to his apartment.

After, we met his attractive Spanish friend and then had dinner in front of the canal.
I ate a yummy plate with Sea Bass and vegetables.

Today was great!
Woke up late, hopped on a train and met Franck at Le Centre Pompidou where I got a sneak peak at Philipe Parreno's latest installation. The show it tomorrow and I was given an invitation to go!! Yayeee!!! http://www.airdeparis.com/parreno.htm

After a coffee, we rented bikes and biked around Paris and back to the apartment. Franck had another meeting so I walked around Montmartre and picked up some things for my friends back home! While shopping, someone mistook me for a movie star visiting Paris from the Cannes Film Festival, so I played it up! It was funny and a nice boost to the ego. The guy said he saw me on t.v. Whateve!
After awhile I sat on the stairs of Le Sacre Coeur and watched some dance performers (yes, I got video!).

Now, back at the apartment for a light dinner before he leaves me to go work for a week. He won't return until I'm gone so this is my last night with my dear French friend for at least a year.

I really do love Paris. There is such an amazing energy here. People love sitting outdoors, sipping coffee's or wine or cokes and eating crepes and sandwhiches. Music and love are everywhere and every corner has something beautiful to see and/or explore.

Paris in the Spring time totally rocks!

  1. Paris, City of Amore. I can imagine how you feel about coming home, both happy and sad. It would be wonderful if home were a place where you could sit out under a tree or on some stairs by the street and just exist in your own space, why is it not like that here? I long for a time when I can be out in public, but in my own space without many intruders. I hope that you get a lot of reflection time in while you are there, and take in a sunset for me. ce la vie, life is a very curious event.
