I have one full day left in the U.S. and I'm so tired. My dog gets picked up tomorrow to go off to the farm...:(
I'm super sad and gonna miss her. Those who know me, know my dog is seriously my baby.
Got some Euros today and just so you know. I spent $123.00 to buy 85 Euros! Suck City.
Oh, well. It will be well worth the experience. (and FYI, I'm bringing more money than that with me!)
So I just wanted to share some info I recieved from my Amiens contact regarding my dorm and my neighborhood. I thought you might like to know - and once I get there, I will, of course, take photos for your viewing pleasure!
You have a room at Residence du Bailly. Here are a few informations regarding the residence : Bailly a is a brand new residence hall which is located 2 mins walk from university and about 20 mins of bus from downtown. In the residence you have internet, a kitchen on each floor and a washer and a dryer. 5 mins walk from the residence , there is a supermarket, a bank, a pharmacy, newspaper, drycleaning. You have to realize that french dorms aren't the same as the ones you have in the us ; its a bit smaller but the atmosphere is nice and you'll get to meet people from all over the world.
Be well and God Bless you,
