I am excited to see where I will be living for the next 5 months.
If I could leave everything I packed behind so I could bring Choko, I would. I know, I'm a nerd. It's not that I don't miss my friends and family. It's just that, I can at least talk to them....my puppy can't talk, she doesn't even know what's going on.
I miss her little nips and barks and the pitter-patter of her feet on my wood floors.
I'm homesick today...and that's, okay.
I think Franck gave me some semblance of home and when he left I really felt alone. I can't tell you how amazingly well he took care of me, making sure I am comfortable, fed, understanding conversations....
But now Jenny (another exchange student from UNO) is here to share this adventure with me and I, with her!
